Ditch The Dig With New Vokey Grind
By John Steinbreder – Global Golf Post Titleist wedge maker Bob Vokey and his colleagues like to seek out the touring professionals who play his clubs and discuss ways to make them better. And not long ago, several of those golfers began asking him about making modifications to one of his first and most popular grinds. “We started to hear the same type of request from a bunch of guys,” Vokey explains. “They’d say, ‘I love the M Grind, but I am catching my full and three-quarter shots heavy. The wedge is digging into the fairway.’ So, we took that feedback from and made this wedge for them.” Called the High Bounce M Grind, it boasts a loft of 60 degrees, an effective bounce of 10 degrees and is designed to help those golfers who have a steep angle of attack but at the same time want the versatility and shotmaking performance the original M Grind was made to promote around the greens.
